BLUEBERRY OAT WAFFLES
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Yield: 5 waffles (1 cup of batter)
3-cups oats
2-cups water
½-salt
1-teaspoon vanilla
2-tablespoons maple syrup
1-pint blueberries
spray oil
Blend all ingredients except blueberries.
Pre-heat the waffle maker.
Spray waffle maker with oil.
Place 1-cup batter on the sprayed waffle maker and add
blueberries.
Remove when waffle maker signals the waffle is
finished.
Spray and repeat.
Place finished
waffles in 170-degree oven on an uncovered plate to keep them warm if you wish
to serve them at one time.
Time and Money Saving
Tip: Refrigerate or freeze leftover
waffles. When you want a waffle, pop in
the toaster and serve.
