ROASTED SLIGHTLY SALTED PEANUTS
I grew peanuts in the garden. I like them in the shell with a little
salt. The store bought peanuts in the
shell are too salty for me. I experimented
and came up with a roasted slightly salty peanut.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Yield: 16 cups
16 cups of peanuts in the shell
1-cup salt.
After peanuts are washed free place them in a large plastic
dishpan.
Add water to cover, salt, and let the peanuts soak
overnight.
Drain water from peanuts and place them on two cookie
sheets.
Roast, stirring occasionally for 1 1/2-hours at 300
degrees.
